SYNOPSIS: Grants averaging between $15,000 and $20,000 (US) per year are provided to investigators with advanced degrees for scientific field research and exploration. Applications are generally limited to the following disciplines: anthropology, archaeology, astronomy, biology, botany, geography, geology, oceanography, paleontology, and zoology.

The sponsor accepts pre-applications throughout the year. Pre-applications should be submitted at least ten months prior to anticipated project dates.
