EU boosts student mobility and governmental reforms with €52 million for 2011 ENPI Interregional Programme
The European Commission has today adopted the ENPI Interregional Action Programme for 2011. It covers the European Neighbourhood countries - south and east - as well as Russia, and is worth a total of €52 million. The Interregional Programme also aims to strengthen dialogue and co-operation between the EU and its eastern and southern neighbours, while it can get around administrative obstacles, such as having to find funds from two separate programmes for an action involving, for example, Ukraine and Morocco.

Harvard today forfeits first place to Cambridge in a league table of the world's top universities, the first time in the list's seven year history that the Ivy League institution has been knocked off the number one spot. A meeting of private educational institution representatives has been held for the first time in Ukraine
On May 28th, 2010 representatives of privately owned Ukrainian educational institutions met with the Education and Science Minister Dmitry Tabachnik. The meeting included around 300 participants. It was noted that private educational institutions have become a prominent component of the educational environment in Ukraine, have found their place in it and are making an important contribution, providing educational services and improving the educational level of Ukrainian citizens. However, it was also noted that there are still many problems that need to be solved.
